Troubleshooting Quote Issues
Quick fixes for the most common quote problems — quotes stuck waiting on details, missing room options, expired offers, changed prices, and quotes that never seem to reach the guest.
The quote is stuck asking the guest for information
A quote stays in Missing Information until the stay dates and guest count are known.
- Open the conversation and check which details are still missing on the quote.
- If you already have the information — from a phone call, for example — enter it yourself so the guest isn't asked again.
- If the guest has gone quiet, a short personal message often unblocks them. See Quote Statuses Explained.
No room options are available for the dates
The quote shows No Options Available when nothing bookable matches the current request.
- Check availability for those dates directly in your PMS — the dates may be sold out, or the party size may not fit any room.
- Suggest nearby dates or a different occupancy to the guest, then check the quote again.

The quote expired before the guest acted
Every quote has a validity period, and this one ran out without a decision from the guest.
- If the guest returns and nothing has changed, edit the quote to reopen it.
- If dates, occupancy, or prices have moved on, send a fresh quote instead. See Quote Expiry and Follow-Ups.
The guest says the prices changed
When a guest changes their request — different dates, guest count, or preferences — the quote is repriced for the new request.
- Compare the current request with the original one in the conversation.
- Explain to the guest that the earlier prices belonged to the earlier request. See Creating and Sending Quotes.
The quote won't send or never reached the guest
The most common reason is that the channel's sending window closed.
- Check when the guest last wrote. Outside the window, WhatsApp needs a template and Instagram allows nothing — see Messaging Windows and Sending Limits.
- Look for a delivery failure flag on the conversation and follow Delivery Failures and Template Issues.
The guest accepted but nothing seems to happen
Acceptance is not the last step — some guest details may still be missing, and your team must confirm the booking.
- Check the acceptance email or the quote in Brixa and confirm (or release) the room promptly.
